Hello! I am a fourth-year medical student at the University of Miami. I first began tutoring while in high school as a peer tutor and mainly taught High school Math (Algebra) and science (Chemistry and Biology). During college, I volunteered as a peer tutor in my residency hall and thought college-level math and chemistry for 2 years then was employed by the University Learning center to work as a peer tutor for a year where I taught college level chemistry and math. After college and before medical school, I also worked as a City Year Corps member in Miami as the math chair at a local middle school and was able to elevate the math score of the students by 20 points at that year's standardized exam.  During medical school, I reviewed college admission essays and medical school applications for my mentees. My areas of expertise are K-12 science and math. I look forward to working with your child and building up their confidence to achieve their academic goals!
