About Me

Education: Biochemistry and Nutrition B.S. from the University of Miami with minors in Chemistry and Public Health (Summa Cum Laude with Departmental Honors). Current third year Medical Student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Hi! My name is Amirah, and I am a third-year medical student at the University of Miami. I have been tutoring in various subjects since I was in middle school. Serving as a peer tutor in middle school and high school sparked my passion for teaching. In college, alongside private tutoring, I served as a workshop leader for biology and organic chemistry. During this time, I also worked as a substitute teacher for elementary school. I have scored in the 90th percentile for my SAT, ACT, and MCAT exams. Seeing a student gain confidence in their academic endeavors is such a rewarding experience. I love being able to work with students as they develop their tools to succeed. I look forward to working with you!
