About Me

Education: Classical Civilization, B.A., Wellesley College (2016) with departmental honors, MD/MPH University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, expected 2023

Experience: 10+ years of tutoring/teaching

Hi! I’m a fourth-year MD and Master of Public Health dual degree student currently taking a research year at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I was first drawn to medicine because of my passion for teaching and desire to empower others with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their care. I’ve been teaching and tutoring in some capacity for most of my life and would love to have the opportunity to work with you or your child to help them succeed and enjoy learning. In college, I majored in humanities and am well-equipped to work with students on their English and writing skills. I also have a strong background in math and science from my pre-med and medical education. I am comfortable working with all age groups, elementary age through post-grad students preparing for medical school. When teaching, I like to take a multi-disciplinary approach with talking through concepts, drawing out diagrams and visual aids, and having students “teach back” what they are learning to me. Looking forward to working with you!
